Yesterday when i started the car up, all of a sudden the idle is rough and the engine is sputtering. I get a CEL. I check it and it says P1399. the car had 2 bars of gas left and maybe a quart low on oil.

I search on this forum and fill up the oil (1 quart), added 4 more gallons of chevron 91 octane, check the spark plugs (looks good), do a map whack, and reset the ecu.

Then the CEL came up again and this time it's P0301 and P1399.

I think it's maybe the coil pack at cylinder 1 so i switch the coil pack on cylinder 1 and 2.

Then the CEL came back up again and this time it's P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0300 and P1399.

I tried just wiggling the map sensor while its in idle but it doesnt seem to smooth the idle out.

Any suggestions would be awesome. thanks so much!

the valves have been making a little ticking sound for the last few thousand miles.

Any help would be appreciated.
