Why does the maintenance light flash now when I start the car ... just passed 6000 miles.... no engine mods except... j's exhaust

 

it's normal.. just a reminder that you need to do your 7500 oil change... do a search for more info. The FAQ has procedures on how to reset.

Nah at 7,500 it will stay on solid. If you had another honda its like when the maintenance required indicator changes to yellow.

Mine started doing it the other day so I reset it. Just hold the trip button on the dash down and turn the key to position 2, hold the trip button down til the light goes out.
