I changed it at 50% because I felt like it, anyway its now at 15% after 1800 miles - I'm curious is it possible the computer is just wrong? or has anyone had experience with the computer saying its time but it isn't really time to get an oil change?

The hear a lot about how the dealer turns people away if its too early. Probably because the maintenance minder is just not for oil. Reseting it early throws off the timing for all the other things it tracks like diff, trans, air filter, etc. It might have over ridden your reset to keep these on course, idk.

I always do mine at 20-15% which is about 5500 miles.

I keep track of the other thing by doing trans fluid every other oil change and diff every third.

What sucks is I put about 1000 miles on the car a week.

that's hardcore, I do about 800 a week and I'm always looking at the guy in a Big new Lexus like,"Man, lemme borrow some leg room and quiet ride from you."
