Default MAP Sensor: Mounting Screws/Advice Needed

Following the (excellent) advice of HeCash and RT, I'm replacing my check valve with a voltage clamp.

The problem is that Speedcraft kept the original screws used to mount the MAP sensor to the manifold, so I only have the (very long) screws that came with the check valve.

Does anyone who's ordered a new MAP sensor have an extra set of screws or advice for where to get some? I'll try my local Honda dealer, but I'm not optimistic that this is a standard size. In the worst case, I can cut the long ones down, but I'd rather not.

With thanks, as always,

VTECSkunk,

Thanks for the advice. Do you happen to remember the dimensions? Where'd you find them? Maybe I worry too much, but I'm always reluctant to swap out screws that seem to fit for fear that the pitch of the threads will be just off enough to enable them to come loose or to damage the housing threads.

Thanks, again,
CB

i cant remember off the top of my head, but I ve gotten them from the machine shop that does all of my work for me. You may want to take off the throttle body and go to home depot they have them there and you can test fit them as well.

It is listed as a screw-washer 4X16.

Thanks, VTECSkunk and CDelena. CDelena, isn't the screw size supposed to be metric? (If the size you've listed is a metric measurement, then PLS. ignore the stupidity of this comment, but I get confused by hardware dimensions!). Is there any problem with pitch or are pitches standard for a given dimension?

So far as I know all the Honda fasteners are standard pitch thread and that is probably all that is available in 4mm size. I would assume that a complete hardware department can supply a couple of 4X16 screws with washer for less than $.50... give it a try.
