I think of it this way: how much more rarer and unique will it be with a Vortech or Comptec SC? Better yet, a turbo? A well designed/installed/tuned SC or turbo will only add to the uniqueness in my mind and make the car better IMO. I do respect the people who keep it NA and relatively mod free, but creating a faster, better handling, better looking car in my own vision is something I love doing. Think about it for yourself and make sure you are 100% sure before you make any decisions. -Anthony

i think our tendency is to be dissatisfied with what we have. i never knew how much i loved the car until i lost my 02. it makes me appreciate the 03 by ten fold.

One more thing:

Although the transmission of S2000 has been referred to as the best in the world for various reasons, it is basically the same technology as any other car. Changing the final drive to 4.44 would be an excellent example of what I think does NOT take away from the cars uniqueness and philosophy behind it.

I sure don't know why anyone would refer to the S2000 transmission as anything better than average. I know there are a lot of worse trannys out there, but it's the worst Honda tranny I've ever had.
