i'd assume you would hand tighthen it, then screw the o2 sensor in, and use the o2 sensor to tighthen the whole assembly. should only be a problem to remove it

That's the way I'd do it. To remove, use a pipe wrench if it won't come off with the sensor. Wrap it in rubber if you don't want to dent it, but then, it's under the car, so who's gonna see it anyway?

its aluminum! use a pipe wrench and tear through half of it! they should have made it stainless so you could just weld it in!

Bummer. Those babies aren't cheap unless you get a used one from someone who doesn't use it anymore (t. pipe).
