Default Mis-connect the hose..

I tried to connect hoses from oil catch can back their original place but didn't connect them incorrectly.
I started the car and smoke coming out from exhaust then I shut it off after seeing the smoke for ~10s.

the smoke went away after I connected them correctly and drove around 5mins.
Can someone tell me that does the incorrect connection of the hose damage the engine?

thanks

Nah it's fine. Smoking is just running oil through. 90% of these motors do that everyday. lol
