so i gunned second. didnt get it all the way into 3rd.

anyway i made a video if anyone can tell me if anything was harmed. (cept pride) like maybe i need to do a valve lash or w/e.

so u just grinded the tranny when u didnt go all the way in 3rd?

 

nah it was just neutral. i didnt hear no grinds.

 

usually on an upshift u wont over rev, only on downshifting, hold the throttle at 2,000 rpms and listen to the exhaust tone, if u hear it pop a little or missfire, then u could have a few bent valves, but u have nothin to worry about.

but yeah ill do that 2k thingy tomrrow. probably on my cold start itll be around that range anyway.
