At the dealer I went to they did use honda oil (at least on my car).... I bought the oil from parts took it to the tech that was doing it for me and hung out with him while he did the work (I have probably 10 friends at the dealership and dont pay full price or pay for the labor )

In fact I will probably be going there for my oil changes on the Evo too

i thought synthetic protects against sludge?
