Motor+lightweight flywheel install ?
I installed a new motor and a Toda lightweight flywheel in my 2000 last weekend. I re-used my stock clutch as it's thickness was 7.8mm thick. I also re-used my throwout bearing as it only had 14k miles on it.
My problem is that after about 85 miles of driving the newly installed motor and flywheel, I am noticing a pretty hard rhythmic vibration at about 2000 rpm up to 5000 rpm. This vibration is especially felt through the clutch pedal when it is engaged. The noise is getting worse and worse and louder as well. I made sure I torqued down the flywheel bolts and pressure plate bolts in sequence and to proper torque. It sounds like something is spinning around and barely touching something else.
I really don't want to drive it until I figure it out.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.
