Default motor seized

My 01' s2k motor seized at 48,151 miles what the hell?

i was on the highway running at about 60-65 MPH
my engine made a bogging sound and lost power completely.
so as soon as i felt and herd that something was wrong i let the car go on Neutral i try and put it back in gear so i can atliest make it to the off ramp and park at a gas station..... well the car just made it to a complete stop i pop the hood to check if their was any kind of liquid leaks witch i didn't see any.... the oil was fine the water was good as well ..... so about half an hour later i try to start it again it starts but it wont keep running unless we accelerate the throttle just enough to keep it going we kept it running for like half a minute shuts off ----- we try once more and now it's starts for about .05 seconds we herd a sound like the timing chain got caught or rapped around something ...... and bam the motor just stops never started again ....

i don't have any idea what went wrong my warranty is out .......

what could it be....?????

*we towed the car home now that the car is in my garage we took the engine apart to see if it was the timing chain but it wasn't

*drained the oil to see it it had water the oil was clean.

*we checked the spark plugs and they where completely dry .

we tried to turn over the engine forward and back but it gets stucks....

does any one have any idea or similar problems....like mine

hopefully i provided enough detail so anywho reads this will understand....'
if not ask....

thanks for reading

EDWARD AGUILAR.....

drop the oil pan and take a look in there... you could have a broken connector rod, maybe not... once you drop the pan you can look up and see whats preventing it from turning...

Do have any movement at all or it completly seized? if you have a little movement you can pull the plugs, stick a screwdriver long enough to reach the pistons and try to turn to see if the all the piston move...

could be a number of things, broken rod cap, something broke and got lodged somewhere near the crank, etc...

Have i mentioned dropping the pan to take a look?

Was there any noticeable metal shavings in the oil? did the anti-freeze smell funny? ,how much oil came out? pull the plugs and scope out the cylinders for scoring, oil pump quit? oil filter clog? how many miles on the oil filter? was it the correct filter? what oil ? and keep us posted when you find the cause.

dropped a valve into the combustion chamber? the retainers are known to stretch and if they fail it will drop a valve

Just a wild guess since I don't have access to the manual here at work, but I'd definitely look at the timing chain guides and/or tensioner(s). I'm guessing what you heard was chain slap. If a guide or tensioner broke inside the front cover, that would explain why you're locked up tight.
