my cars being losing a lot of oil recently. after a commute or 2 from school (50 miles back and forth) i lose about 2x on the dip stick, hitting vtec at most 5 times. when i pop the hood i see oil around my engine cap and when i touch it its still wet.

my cap is on tight and doesnt come off easily.

im runing mobile 1 synthetic

anyone else have this problem? normal?

 

the s2k uses a little oil when doing high rpm's...

 

yah but not out the oil cap.

check the seal on the underside. make sure its stil there and didnt fall off during an oil change

 

yea there seems to be some oil around the oil cap its weird. everything is in contact from what i see.

does losing 2x seem about right?
