Need Help!
So I was just driving my car normally, and out of no where my "Check Engine" light comes on and I could no longer throttle past 3000 rpms, in any gear. So I had to keep doing really short shifts on the way home. I turned my car off when I got home, and started it up again and the light was still there. The car ran fine for a couple of minutes, then it began limitting me to only 3000 rpms again. Whenever I hit 3000 rpms my car basically jolts and it bumps me back to like 2500. It's the worst feeling in the world.
Anyone have any clue what my problem may be related to, before I take it to the dealership and have them plug the computer in?

The car is in limp mode because it thinks there might be something serious wrong with the engine. Limp mode is there to protect the engine. You need to find out what code was thrown before taking it out of limp mode to avoid possibly damaging the engine.
