Default need help (clear corners)

I need some advice on how to take out the original amber corners. I have uninstalled the headlights and waiting to bake them. Should I keep the HID ballasts on or take them off? Will it damage them if i bake it with them on? THANX

Do a search (its on the top right of every page). I think it is reccomended that you remove the ballasts.....I personally have not done it, but I belive 20mins in the oven on like 225 will do the trick. Do a search though as there is a whole lot of posts on this subject...

Others have stated they did not remove the sockets and the HID ballast from the headlight assemblies before baking them. I removed everything to reduce the chance of damaging something. Removing the cover to the HID socket required a Torx T25 tamper-proof bit, which I bought at an auto parts retailer. However, if you're not comfortable with this step it seems to be OK to bake the sockets and HID ballast along with the headlight assembly.

Do you have proper Torx?
Are you in a hurry?

If not, go for it. Just use alot of care. Don't get things to hot.

I baked mine with the HID ballasts on, and for about 7 minutes, 7 minutes, and 8 minutes. No problem, they work fine now.
