Need Help With Headlights
Does your turn signal light work ?. There is a plug into the light/turn signal stalk behind the steering wheel , have you done any repairs around that area in recent times to cause the plug to unseat ?, I couldn't imagine it coming out on it's own but you never know. You'd almost have to start there and follow the wires towards the engine bay to source out the culprit.
I just made a daytime running light circuit on my car (US vehicle) by running 12 volts from the interior fuse box to the blue/red wire on the plug behind the turn/light stalk, so that is the wire that initiates the lights to turn on as soon as it gets power put on it. You'll have 12 volts going to that switch and when you turn the switch on the power transfers to the blue/red wire, so the problem sounds like it is from the 12 volt source to the switch. I've got the wiring diagrams if you need any further info once you check everything out.

I'll have to scan them for you, there are a few pages, perhaps tomorrow and I can email you, send me your email address by pm.
I suggest it might be the two relays for the lights in the underhood fuse box/relay box. There are fuses 43 an 45 in there as well, and the main fuse 41 that is directly connected to 12 v power. Or it might be a bad switch in the turn signal/light stalk behind the steering wheel. There are test procedures for the switch and for the relays that you should do, double check fuse 41 , because if that blows then there won't be power to anything else.
You have 12 volts going to the entire underhood fuse box/relay box that goes to many different functions, if there wasn't power there you would have many other issues. So the faulty parts might be the two relays or three fuses, but you said that you checked them. That leaves the switch to be tested as well. But you should be able to find 12 volts in the underhood fuse/relay box that feeds the two relays and goes through the fuses.
