need help pulling tranny

same here.

get the block & tranny 'cinched' back together and get that clutch fork out. When their close enough together, the fork should wiggle around loosely, you then just have to twist & wiggle it out.

seems like no one is telling you exactly where the clutch fork is...it's what compresses the slave cylinder. all you need to do is unbolt your slave cylinder remove the plastic boot over it, and the fork is the only thing under it. all you have to do at that point is pull it outward. it will not come out of the transmission case it'll just hang there. it moves probably about a quarter of an inch to a half an inch.

it was the clutch fork. after takin that off it came out so easy, i was so pissed..lol

same thing here bro.... the thing that annoys me is the Helms manual isn't that clear on this either.

Ok, I'm confused - Did you ever drop the subframe, or did you succeed with only removing the clutch fork?
