need help pulling tranny
This issue has nothing with dropping the subframe.
Lowering the subframe makes it easier to access the top bell housing bolts, and getting a good angle on getting the completely freely separated engine out of the engine bay.
This issue is that, if you go and unbolt all of the various bolts between the engine and transmission first, then allow the engine to separate a couple of inches from the tranny, the clutch for gets 'pinned' into place and cannot be removed from it's opening in the bell housing. This keeps you from completely separating the engine from transmission.
The engine can be pulled w/o dropping the subframe, but that does make it easier.

lol no i never droped the sub fram! did not need to. really didnt even think about it! but all is well now got it out and starting to take everything of the block so i can go get it worked on. thanks for all the help everyone.
