Default NEED HELP! Stoptech brake lines banjo bolt

Ok so I spent pretty much all of this weekend working on my brakes, and now when I was putting everything back together, one of the damn banjo bolts that came with the stoptech brake lines broke!! I was torquing it to the specified 25 lb-ft and the head just broke off!! Kinda worried me, but I was able to get the rest of the bolt out of the caliper.

My question now is: Can I use the banjo bolts off of the OEM brake lines safely?? I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could get back to me soon because I need to put my car back together ASAP!

Thanks in advance for any help...

You can also contact Stoptech directly for a replacement. They'll get one to you ASAP.

I should add that while I had no problems for ~15k miles using the OEM banjo bolts on Stoptech lines (with dozens of track and autoX events), I can't be sure that Stoptech has not revised their lines. So while I think it should be fine, it's your car, your brakes, and your life on the line.

I also have found that aftermarket banjo bolts can fail easily.. just do not seem to be rated for much torque. I used the OEM bolts with other lines and have not had any problems in many years of use.

Yea the stoptech ones looked and just...felt like crap. The OEM ones looked much "tougher" and able to withstand more torque. I ended up just cleaning out the oem ones REALLy well and just reusing those...

I'm talking about the hollow bolts with the holes that connect the brake line/hose to the brake caliper...
