Default Need Infos about the Tech2 7LBS Comptech Pulley

Hi,

i finally build in the 7LBS Pulley for my Comptech SC + Aftercooler. Unfortunatly my car is on the winterbreak and i cannot drive it till 1st March 2005 because of the saisonal license plate i have).

But i want to gather all possibly informations about the pulley. Especially max boost with an aftercooler, duty cycle of stock injectors, AFR-Rate and so on.

My car is equipped with an E-Manage, PLX-M300 Wideband Gauge, Comptech FMU and stock injectors. I used the E-Manage to add some fuel because the stock comptech sc kit ran to lean.

For my further tuning project i have ordered already a Greddy Boost Sensor + Harness, Greddy E-01 Programmer + E-Manage External Signal Harness. With those items i can datalog the wideband signal and can change the maps with the boost instead of the stock map voltage.

I am happy for any input you can give me on this topic

I have the Comptech w/ aftercooler I added the 7 psi pulley and my boost gauge reads at full boost a little bit over 0.5 bar which converts to 7.25 lbs boost, Hope that helps!

I just don't get it, doesn't Comptech SC comes with 7lb boost pulley?

Im running the 7 psi pulley also. I dynoed real lean, but for now, I just turned up the fuel pressure with the regulator.

I have the Emanage and all the accessories you spoke of, but have not installed it yet. I would also recomend 440 or larger injectors. Ill let you know the results when I have everything on.

I agree the stock Comptech pully provides 5.5-6psi of boost.

I have read other owners report stock injectors max out (100% duty cycle) at ~350 RWHP, which coincides nicely with my results (currently 304 RWHP at 86% duty cycle). This is with the Comptech FMU and the higher fuel pressue it provides. Higher or lower fuel pressue will cause lower or higher duty cycles respectively.

So if you plan to run that kind of power definitely look at bigger injectors.

I have seen an '04 run that pulley on an other-wise stock Comptech SC and I think he made right at 7psi at redline, 312 RWHP.

Thanks all for your inputs and don't stop giving more of them

About the injector duty cycle i had also made some testings last summer. I configured the afr at max boost way too rich (10.0:1) and the injector duty cycle was at 96%.

With the E-01 i can log 3 sensors at the same time, so it should be easy to look at the max injector duty cycle together with a safe afr rate at full boost.

BTW Has anyone from you any infos about the idle fuelpressure after you raised the Comptech FMU Pressure?
