Need some serious help!
slid out today in the rain and the ass end of my s2k slid into a curb. the exhaust and suspension underneath is now bent.
Im going to get it looked at tommorrow but want some advice.
So, i drove the car home a couple miles and it got there. thats the good news the bad news. VSA light is blinking now and the steering wheel is crooked. when its on center it is actually turned slightly so i obviously bent some suspension pieces.
Could this be a bent frame? Does the S2k have a rear subrame, or is a unibody?
I know it has a X- bone monocoque frame or whatever but does that mean that the frame is all one piece?
thanks for your help in advance im sooooo bummed right now.

if it is only slightly crooked you shouldn't be too bad off. It does have a rear subframe, but is like a cradle and would not be cheap. If something did bend hopefully it was a control arm. As long as you buy used you shouldn't have to spend an outrageous amount

Update:
Okay so based off my own research I hit the rear subframe....its bent on one side. how likely is it that it bent the frame. its not supr bent. just a little. there is practically no body damage except a few lights scatches on the bottom of the bumper..
my question is how easy is it to total a s2k.

take it to a high end, reputable body shop. They will do all they can to fix it the right way. Once all the numbers are in to fix it the right way, if that exceeds what the insurance company will pay out, then it may be totalled.
As for totalling it, it depends on the year, miles, and current value of the car. It also depends on what insurance company you have. Insurances companies use different percentages of the total value of the car to determine whether or not it will be totalled. I'd check with your insurance company's policy on this, and go from there.

you know i did the exact thing,
honda knuckles are sort of sacrificial in these instances. you are gonna wanna either take it to a frame shop and they will spec it out measuring across ect.
or you cna do it yourself using the good wheel as your example. i got lucky and it was just a knuckle and wheel that got screwed. cost me 400 for the wheel, 100 for the bearing and like....250ish for the knuckle and then labor. good luck man.
