Default neutralizing fuel (gas)

I left my intake manifold disassembled and to my stupidity i left the fuel line hanging up free. overnight, the fuel line tip over and i think about 400 drops or more of fuel leaked onto the surface of the longblock, trickled down to whatever is located underneath into the gaps and stuff.

I took a gallon of DI water and poured it. I wiped some of it down. poured more DI water and wiped dry as many places I could.

Any other ideas to top off the cleaning? Should I just leave the rest of it to dry and put everything back together?

I know fuel is a cleaner itself. But I'm thinking of carb cleanering everything....
