Default new diff, same volume?

I got the 4.56 and comptech upgrade from ricks, and im going to replace the fluid soon. I know that one QT is enough for the stock housing, but my diff looks different/bigger than stock. Im wondering if i need to order more than one qt of diff fluid or will one QT be fine? thanks.

yea, but the actuall diff looks different, like the cooling fins are bigger, and the shape of the diff is somewhat different. In the stock diff how much does it take to fill....if its 3/4 of a QT then i think im fine, but if the stock diff needs a full QT i think i might need more.

Stock diff needs .82 qt. so you'll be just fine.
