New Engine Need Help

Default New Engine Need Help

My engine blew up with 48k, i'm buying a new one with only 100 miles, is it possible to reset the odometer to 100 miles?
also since i never own a new s2k how should i take care of the car at the beginning as far as maintenance and driving

The odometer can't be reset, it measures the mileage on the chassis.

no you can't reset it. and honestly, to do so would be illegal.

breakin the engine per your owner's manual. go easy on it for the first 600-1000 miles or so. also, no synthetic engine oil until after about 10,000 miles.

thanks guys, also great tip for the maintenance i didn't know about the no synthetic oil, when you say go easy means not running hard right? or not pushed
