i hear that, the coils were my next thought, but like you said, i would think it would throw a code. i have a guy local with an s2k coming to check it out on monday, he is from this forum as well, really nice guy said hed take a look at my car for me. i already checked the intake it is all hooked up correctly. i didnt see any other obvious vacuum leaks either, ofcoarse i dont have a vacuum guage either to do a proper test. im hoping he wont mind if i can pull his map and put it on my car to check it. wouldnt the map throw a code though if it was malfunctioning?

ok guys, check it out, we found out today that the idle is fine it only bogs out and tries to die when I turn the steering wheel or press in the clutch??? Not sure what this means, maybe a new ecu? maybe a wiring problem? it only has 43k miles. What do you guys think??

I would cheak the IAC (idle air control valve). It controls idle and that is what your problem is. They get dirty and the wheel inside starts to stick. So get some hand tools and remove it. It is the block on the side of the Intake with the throttle cable mounted to it. Just remove it from the intake and clean the inside with Q-Tips and some type of carb cleaner. DO NOT SOAK it, just clean it. Then put it back and you should be good to go. It is a 150 part if you just want to replace it. If you do, send me your old one. I need a spare.

the iacv is good, cleaned it alread. The idle only dips and bogs and stalls once I turn the steering wheel or press in the clutch, otherwise it idles fine. my eps light is on also, im thinking it is the ecu or maybe a voltage regulator or something.

im not entirely clear about the issue but kinda sounds like what i had.

Except my 03' would stall out only when i let off the gas to shift gears in 2nd threw 5th. Turns out i needed a new motor. not something you wanna read but. Its just my story. But if its kinda like what mine did, check your oil pan for metal shavings, you may have the same issue as me just at a different stage. hope this helps. if not sorry
