You say im bashing another company yet when I look at what you write you seem to be doing the same to me. Again, *YOU* are the one here wishing to sell the S2000 community something. XERD is the company that has to prove themselves. You should know better than to expect people to suddenly piss in their pants over product that doesn't yet exist coming from a company that nobody has ever heard of. I really hope you and the rest of the folks at XERD really know what you're getting into. Because it's halfwit logic like this:

XERD, good luck with your turbo kit. If you can build a top quality kit at the price point you have set than you will have no problem getting customers and a good reputation. However many people/companies have come on here and made the same claims you have. I would say the overwhelming majority of owners on this site are very skeptical of posts like this for good reason. That said I wish you the best of luck and look forward to your progress.

On a side note I would recommend you distance yourself from NYhookups... He is not helping your credibilty whatsoever and has already started to rub a few potential customers the wrong way.

OK matt and the rest of you who want to fight with me. Just to inform you that this turbo would never have even been thought of if I hadnt informed Xerd that we wanted one. So keep b*****ing about it. The ones that talk s*** in here are the ones that make S2K owners look bad. Im looking out for those who want quality products and not SPPEEEEEDDD CRRRAAAFFFTTTTT. So matt and the rest of you should shut your mouth until you know the real story.

 

I am not supporting nor am I against anyone here. I just want to see if this is another "turbo for S2000 thread" or not. I'm hoping not so that there maybe some choices and options for people to make decisions on later in the future.

NYHOOKUP - please calm down and just look at the situation from both sides. Yes, you believe that XERD with prevail but then a lot have people here have seen companies come and go and the members are skeptical as anyone would be with a new company and their claims. Just take that into consideration, when addressing members here.

Well, I am completely dumbfounded and actually amused on how some S2000 owners are acting these days. I think we need to all just calm down and think about what we are arguing about, absolutely nothing. OK, from my point of view, I see a man that is trying to spread the word about a new turbo that will be developed and eventually mass produced (NYhookups). Now at times he has been a little bit harsh and not understanding but I can see why, since some of the members pn here like to jump on a thread and see how they can start an argument. In my experience of reading this post for some time now, I just had to reply.

Now lets see what we have here...An offer for a turbo that will be produced in the near future...sounds good to me considering I have been on a expedition on finding one that suites my needs. As far as the speedcraft turbo that many are raving about, I think many members on the board are mislead by people that talk about it. I personally went to SpeedCraft in Florida and me being one of those members that were mislead was totally in shock when I saw the establishment. I knew this was one of the few places to obtain a turbo for the s2k, and that is why I took a vacation all the way to Florida to see it first hand. Many on this board believe that SpeedCraft is a huge company (ie. Greddy, HKS, etc.), well in my experience I found out that it was nothing more than a normal speed shop/garage. I am in no way negatively criticizing SpeedCraft, but I (and I can bet many more) expected a little bit more than what I saw and went inside of. As far as the turbo goes, it looked decent and the output specifications were acceptable. I decided to decline on purchasing the turbo from SC just for the fact that I could get a custom turbo setup exactly like theirs anywhere I wanted, I didn't have to make a trip there to find out that its a garage.(not to mention the fact if a problem occurs I can go to my own local speed shop rather than being hassled to travel across the country.

For Xerd, I have to say that I am extremely interested in this kit when and if it becomes available. I am one of many that will be in line to purchase the kit. As a proud owner of a 02 Sebring Silver S2k, I would do nothing but appreciate a company that will take the time to produce/and more importantly throughly test a vehicle with the turbo (unlike some). I have quite a few friends with Honda S2000's and they agree that waiting on the XERD turbo is our best bet (3-4 of them plan on purchasing the kit when/if available). So I am going to stick behind XERD all the way and pray that they make this turbo deal happen, because I am absolutely yearning for it. Thank you XERD and NYhookups for making a wonderful opportunity for me and many S2k owners alike. So lets not discriminate what we have here, it is nothing but an chance to get want many S2000 owners want...a turbo.

OK first of NYhookups does not work for XERD, we have nothing to do with what he says on the forums. I talked to him personally and he is just stating his opinions.

Again he does not work for XERD and has nothing to do with the development of the kit of anything that XERD is working on.

NYhookups is the one who told us about this club and about the interest for a turbo kit and thats how this whole thing started, i will give credit where credit is due.

Anything said by anyone else except XERD is just talk and opinions and we have nothing to do with it. I have nothing against anyone here or any company that has made parts for the S2000 and i never bad mouthed Speed Craft or anyone else for that matter.

i dont know any of you guys and have nothing against any of you. We are both shops trying to make a living by tuning and making parts for cars so good luck to you with everything you do.

We will start working on this project very soon (week or so) and will update everyone as soon as we have anything to say or show.

We wouldn't want to mislead you in anyway that we are GReddy/HKS size because we are not. Right now we have a shop where we make all of our parts and a separate business office. We used to do installs and other custom projects but we dont anymore, right now we are only making parts and who knows maybe in the future we will be big as GReddy (we can only hope).

Today's business has changed and its very hard to have a name like GReddy or HKS, they been there from the beginning and now there are so many new company's being introduced to the public every month. We love working on cars and make interesting products for them. As long as we enjoy it, can make people happy and pay our bills we are happy, that's all. So please don't have a picture of us being some Hugh company because we are not. However we have the sources that these big companies have and thats why we are capable of making the parts we do. Most of our products are made overseas in order to offer top quality and affordable prices.

The only updates will come from the user name XERD so if anyone else says anything it means nothing until you hear it from us.

We never said we will make the best turbo kit, we just want to make A kit, when its done "you the consumer" will be the judge.
