Does anyone know how to get in contact for Lawerence from Kiwi Fabrication? He used to build race cars for the Austrillia Subaru team. He's stuff were top of the line. His turbo kit were making monster hp on low boost. Use a lot of Tial stuff.
Ok I just want to make this clear to everyone. Speedcraft is NOT a respectable company nor do they have a good reputation. The majority of you know nothing about them because you dont live there. I lived in orange park for the past few years and my best friend still lives there. About 10 miles from speed craft. I think it should be represented to you all that the manager is in trouble with authorities at this time so would you still like to call them reputable? Do you respect a company that makes a "CUSTOM" turbo for s2000's that is in trouble with the law? I dont and thats for sure. What it comes down to is that Xerd is offering a much much higher performance turbo running much better readouts unlike the dyno readouts of speedcraft. I dont understand why everyone thinks the read outs were soooo good. Look at dynos of other cars such as Eclipses, and many others that have lower horse readings yet still crushed the speedcraft turbo for the s2000. What it comes down to is, do you want a turbo that is worth your money or would you rather spend the $5,500 on the custom turbo from a small garage shop that puts it together just to get the cash. If your going to come in here talking about speed craft or other companies then dont bother posting in here. But I will tell you that the operation is well underway at this time with Xerd and I already saved the money for the turbo. Oh and just to let everyone know, there will be a page put up in the next month about the turbo, its progress, and other information. No one should take offense to this post. You all say you want the turbo so stick with us here. Its being done. NOT like those other companies who "said" they would make it. Please show us support. You will be satisfied.
NYhookups, couple of things:
One, sorry to disappoint you but most of us already know about the problems with the law that I think you are referring to and fyi, the manager has even come on this board and told us the entire story.
Two, you have to be kidding me when you talk about comparing making turbos for an S2000 and an Eclipse 3rd Gen. As any one worth the time will tell you the s2000's high oem compression is a limiting factor. What's the compression on a Dodge Stratus? 9:1? What's the compression on a Eclipse 3rd Gen? Probably about the same? How about taking the S2000s drivetrain into account?
Third, I am confused as to where you are getting your information from compared to Xerd. The guy post that he will be starting in 2 weeks and yet you claim that the operation is well underway? What is your connection to Xerd?

Turbo just to let you know im the advertiser for Xerd. Thanks for "Trying" to make me look bad becuase sticking up for a guy whos girlfriend is half his age and makes fake ID's for her is pathetic. No offense to you, Ive talked to you many times but the fact is this turbo WILL be better than speedcrafts without a doubt. Dont be fooled thinking that speed craft is some big company making tons of proffesional turbo's. I know a bunch of people who had turbo's done there and they had nothing but problems. Do you guys want problems with your turbo? I doubt that.
NYhookups - So you're in charge of marketing for Xerd? That's fine.
However, let me offer you some advice. If you're marketing a product for a company, the last thing you should do is knock a competitor's product to make yours look more favorable. There's no need for that, and in fact, it makes you look bad - plain and simple.
There are a lot of us patiently waiting for new products to be engineered to provide some competition to what little is offered currently. We require hard facts/numbers to be convinced...not saying that you're trying to push "Vaporware". Oh...and I don't think anyone was trying to make you look bad...to me it looks like it was the other way around. But, I'll make my own conclusions on the turbo after seeing the final product. If it's everything you've said it is, then YOU have nothing to worry about.

They say getting a business degree is a waste of time.. but there are those individuals that really do need to go back to school.
Everyone and their best friend thinks that marketing/PR is easy. For the most part, with established companies, there's not much to do when the company is doing well. But getting started is key, and starting off by talking trash about another company is pretty stupid especially with no product to back the word of mouth.
I say XERD or whatever fancy name they wish to call themselves needs to go back to the drawing boards and think about this product. As turbopwr already said, making a turbo kit for the S2000 isn't the same as making the kit for a Dodge anything or an Eclipse. And get rid of this PR guy...

Andyp think he was refering to NYhookups. Nyhookups, words now mean very little as many people have claim to produce this and that and cried the proverbial wolf. Not that I am stating that XERD fits into this category, but when this kit does come out and when it does what you claim, many will revert their claims and feelings about this turbo kit. I know I'll be surprised. I also have many questions pertaining to the development of this kit.

SecretAP1 - I have nothing to do with Xerd if you read my post.
