The big brown truck just brought me a present!! A big one I might add . I went through it already and I think everything is accounted for . Question about the black box. The one I got is dated 12-06-02 and on the back it has a lable w/ the date and part #s and it says S2000 00-02. So im pretty sure I have the right one. But the vaccume hose and the wires come out of the same side w/ some kind of port (computer hook up) on the other side. Anyone seen this??

BTW, what was the part# for the blackbox? all mine were dated back in october so I'm not sure if i have that black box.

Part number is 5A001-051 its the same # thats in the installation manual.

 

I've been told that the "defective" black boxes were indistinguishable from the good ones. Only Vortech can tell you by the serial number if it is a good one or not. I would REALLY like to think that after all this time, they've got it right!
