Sometimes on www.superchargersonline.com they will have a $200 rebate on the Vortech. That made the satin version $4300. Also, there is a poster that is affiliated with www.bulletproofautomotive.com that claims they will meet/beat any advertised price on the Vortech. Good Luck.

Xviper-PM sent. I downloaded the installation instructions and this unit is best left for the pros to install, I would never attempt this one myself! Do you know anything else I will be needing at the install time beside what the Vortech instructions call for? Like should I change to irridum plugs one range colder? ETC, ETC, if any of you guys can help me with this it will make sure I have everything ready for the install. It is hard to write the check for this expensive-ass S/C, but I must. Even got the OK from my wife which I thought would be the hardest part!

xviper-so the correct plugs would be the NGK Racing V-Power copper #6564?? Where can I get these plugs? I am going to watch my man every step of the way, but I will admit I am mechanically pretty useless! When are you installing your kit? Thanks for the advice, I'm sure I will have many more questions as the time comes. Toady is off to the bank!

Fanman-thanks for the tip, I didn't see the rebate on Superchargers online so their 4500+ is much higher than some shops out there. thanks. Phil

VTECPHIL, they don't have it now, they had it in December though. I don't know how long you are willing to wait for $200 less. Also, some guy on the board claimed he got a polished one for $3900 I wanted to ask him where, but never folloed up. Do your research, I think you can definately get it for $4300 and under somewhere. Good Luck.

I "believe" these are the ones but I'm at work and don't have me "notes" handy. There was a thread within the last week that addressed this very topic. One of your local guys can tell you better about where to get these plugs. I'm kinda far away.
I will begin install of my kit in bits and pieces over the next 2-3 months. I won't have it all done till near the second 1/2 of April. (It's near 20 below zero here right now with no end in winter for several more months. Don't need a S/C just yet. )

xviper-we haven't even had our winter here this year! I did the check locally and the NGK Racing Copper #6564 has been superceeded by part # 7173 according to Frisbee's (the local import race shop) He wants to make me a package deal on the SC install, dyno tune, etc. Have to see what the deal is. So I just talked to Vortech, and my kit is delayed till "early next week". They said they are waiting for the correct black box to come in. Which I guess is a good thing if I wasn't so excited about it that I cant sleep!! Anyways...so the install will be next weekend 01/31 - 02/02. I purchased loktite blue, silicon sealer, heavy grease, oil, honda filter, and I have the crank pully puller on the way. Anything else you can think of that I will need??
