Next Mod: S/C Vortech or Comptech-help with pros/cons
xviper, your nut idea may not work, when I machined the hole (I have my own Bridgeport Milling Machine) the inside of the pan is dished so a nut will not sit flush agaisnt the pan wall. So if you do tighten the nut you will cause excessive force on the threaded hole and pull the threads right out. If you take your time threading the hole you will see that the NPT fitting fits very snug with really no chance of breakage at the threads. With rubber engine mounts I can for see any viberation problems either.

Deal.
In preparation for the SC, I went ahead and installed the Hondata gasket and while the intake was off, I had it and a few other goodies powdercoated in "mirror silver" and "factory red krinkle"
However it looks like I will be getting the polished Vortech kit so I may end up powder coating the tubes and painting the airbox to match so that the turbine housing and accessories of the vortech will be the only "brightwork".
What do you think?
