Nitrous express need help reading JETS
hey everyone... i have a Wet Nitrous express kit on my car. Everything is installed in to the car, but i dont know how to read the jets. I was wondering if anyone here could help me out with it. i like to have a 35 shot or a 50 shot, but i dont know the reading for the jets
. This was a used kit, so didnt come with instrestion(sp). The jets i have are 18, 20, 22, 26, 31, 33, 35, 38, 52, and 62. i would be happy if some one would help me with this and for which one to go in to nitrous and fuel.
well thank you for your time to take a 1min to read this

is your kit a direct port or sinlge fogger?
Basically nitrous express will have a jetting chart available for your kit. You can access their web page and go to the installation section and then to the specfic jet chart for your kit.
You will always want to run the higher jet in the nitrous side and the lower one in the fuel nozzle. Looking at your combination you might begin with a 22 nitrous 18 fuel combination. This should be around 35 hp. You could then bump up to a 26 nitrous 20 fuel eventually and so on. A 38 nitrous 22 fuel should be around 70 hp or so.
Each kit does have given set values but you could always swap out jets within certain parameters to fine tune your system (best when on a dyno). Never get out of the pattern becuase you could have detonation or nitrous back fire. Back fire is caused by either having too much fuel which results in puddling and an explosion in the intake runner or tube or too little fuel due to a low fuel jet, causing an inconsistent combustion. Excess nitrous would then be left behind for the next cycle in addition to the current injection which would result in backfire also of the worse kind.
I hope this makes some sense, but remember to go onto nitrous express's site for correct jet chart.
