no bolt ons.
got it from a private seller back in April time frame everything wrkd fine till about a week ago.
I may have let the oil level get low which caused the stutter but thats about it.

I went up to Honda Jacksonville NC with the VTEC Solenoid and they said it was fine no problem gotta take it back up there tomorrow so i can give teh mechanic a ride and he can take a look at it.

I will keep u posted with what happens.

Try taking the lid of your OEM intake. I know it sounds stupid, but it will allow you to hear the crossover (VTEC engaging). If the car is still revving to 9 then I doubt you have a problem.

If VTEC stops working it should throw a CEL and also put the car in a protect mode that would make it feel like you hit the rev limiter at around 6000rpm's

I think you've just gotten used to it.

If you don't have a CEL on and the DTC P1259 stored, the VTEC is working yo.

Do you have a CEL on?

If the answer is No, then your VTEC works. It's a fact, not for debate.

Maybe when you let the oil level get low the motor lost some hp. If your vtec was broken, your CEL would tell you.
