NO VTEC, yes another
no i took it off showed it to the mech he said it was good an dthen i put hondabond on it and bolted it back on then started it. I'm not to slow when it comes to knowing not to start ur enginge with no oil in it.
I was driving it an hour ago and the VTEC kicked in in 2nd gear a little harder then before almost back to the way it was but in 1st still nothing.

in first i am and still nothing just right thru the rpm's.
Could that engine damage be fixable, i understand that i have no idea what is/could be damaged but in this situation is that a fix that can b done?

anything can be fixed..u could probably slam a 2jz in there and it'd be fixed. you would never have to worry about vtec again, actually! ....like u said, who knows what it is,,is it just electronics, is it a blown motor, is it the l.e.d tire flys and the neon kit? who knows!?!
If it is damage it would be fixable (if you can afford to fix it
)
I doubt you have something wrong with your engine that would not throw a CEL, but weaken and not allow VTEC to engage???

As soon as is gets more than 1 headgasket that would be a good thing to check.
It's a inline 4 cylinder engine. There is only 1 headgasket. If it were blown he'd be having many more issues.
