hey guys im new here, well i have a problem with my s2 that i just got the problem is that when its in gear at high rpm and i let go of the gas it there is a loud noise but when i give it gas again it goes away or when i put it on neutral there is no noise only when its in gear at 3-8rpm in any gear.. what can be the problem ? please help thanks

 

something transmission related i assume? clutch maybe? what KINDA noise?

 

Sounds like your flywheel. A noisy one is common on S2Ks. If you're still unsure, have a mechanically minded friend have a listen too. It's just running down, decelerating the engine.

Yes, you have an 01, clutch/ tranny buzz is normal. there was a TSB for this , but you're most definately out of warranty. I'd just live with it. I had it on my 01 and now I have a stage 2 clutch, which also makes the tranny buzz.
They put softer springs in the clutch to fix this I believe, its explained in the TSB.

but theres another noise that it make now when it go to 3000 rpm like something is loose..like a lil clicking sound but its still runs good and everything tho

 

and the noise when i let go the gas is pretty loud like it vibrate the car alil
