Just got an 02 S2000 with 49k and I noticed that in hard right cornerimg I can here a sound from the right rear wheel area it is a distinct noise I guess the best way to describe it is kakakakaka very fast almost like a quick violent rattle it is audible but I do not feel the shake physically. What do you guys think it is?

 

I would jack the car up and check the wheel bearings. Try and listen if it happens at any other times, this will help diagnose it better.

 

The noise only presents itself when the car is under a hard right turn it actually sounds more like the left rear tire, I know that a rear wheel bearing was replaced just before I got the car could something not be torqued to spec cause this?

 

Yes. Their is a tsb out for it and i believe they still forget to torque it correctly. also their could be a bur or something on the nut, thats what they told me the fourth time i brought it back.. I believe its the axle nut that the tsb is for.
