Hey guys does anyone experience this?

I put the car in reverse and gradually release the clutch the trans makes a thumping sound. (I'm just assuming it's the trans). Is this something that is common in the 2001 s2k or should I get it checked out?

just got mine checked out and its going to cost $2200 to fix, mine was doing same. Aparently thr car will go just fine until the reverse idler gear goes, then it tears up the mainshaft and gear fork, plus you have to change all 10 of the bearing if any metal is in the tranny at all, which i had.......starting to dislike this tranny .
