Default Normal Start Up?

I've got the clutch depressed and I don't touch the throttle. Maintenance light is flashing because I've not reset it after an oil change.

04 with 104k on the clock
Tracked 2 times, once recently
Oil good and new
Car otherwise runs well, with a slightly lumpy idle since it began starting this way.

secondary air injection pump kicked on, looks normal to me for 00-05 s2000s. If you had a 06+ I'd be worried

Do the idle rpms continue to be a bit erratic after that or is it just that short burst and then it settles down ?.

I would look into cleaning the IAC valve, and possibly the MAP sensor (whack or clean with electronic parts cleaner) and spraying down the small orifice that goes under the MAP sensor into the manifold.

The RPMs go steady after that and slowly fall after the car warms up.

I always thought it was normal, my 04 with 56k miles does it, I just let it warm up for a minute and take off.
