are u sure its only 3-4...the entire trans-shifter should feel direct giving u the notchy feeling...i have the oem ti shift knob much heavier than the standard aluminum knob...alot praise voodoo shift knobs and to answer ur trans doesnt sound like anything out of the ordinary...its a crisp trans-shifter...what was your previous car

haha an sti...no wonder your worried...great power, suck ass trans-shifter...not bashing ive driven one...welcome to honda suck power but great mechanicals lol...like i said i have the oem ti knob which is the optional factory heavy knob and i like it...recommending a knob is like recommending pants...its all in what fits you...if you like the ball type shift knobs get the voodoo knob at ricks2k.com ...if u like your stock knob then get the oem ti one from the dealership

Team VooDoo from www.Ricks2k.com is one that i use and love, not only is it a little heavier, it is a little bit shorter than stock

Back to your question, Give it some time to break in maybe 2-3k miles? Then take it back to the dealer and complain if its not better.
