notchy transmission?

did you read what i posted earlier

when your at a stop, before going into first RIGHT after you push the clutch in, give it a few seconds before throwing the shifter into first. can almost garuntee you that it will not make that sound/feel.

yep the S has the notchiest clunkiest transmission of any car i have driven but then again the throw is so small that i guess its a trade off..If you rag the nuts off it and go right through the box at high rpm's its smooth as silk and quick shifting too.If you drive around towns crawling your way through traffic it seems to be notchy and clonky and grindy..

This is my second S and the other did exactly the same.

i guess the car doesent like to be driven at low rpm in the city.. because in the freeway at high rpms its as smooth as a babies ass
