The S2000 engine (as well as newer Honda engines) all turn CLOCKWISE while the NSX and older Honda engines rotate COUNTER-CLOCKWISE.

Honda's going to clockwise rotation for all their new engines as part of their plan to remian an independant automaker in the future by supplying engines to other manufacturers. Honda doesn't have the production capability to increase vehicle production by a substantial about, but they have the capability to increase engnie production by a lot. Their first customer is Saturn. By having an engine that rotates clockwise (like all other engines), Honda ensures their engines are compatible with all transmissions.
