Default Obd system unresponsive

Just took my MY 2002 out of storage, took it to emissions and they said the obd system is unresponsive. I drove the car about 60 miles before taking it there, any help would be appreciated.

Simple test:

turn the key on, and watch the check engine light. Be sure it comes on, then goes off.

If it doesn't, you have an electrical issue.

If it does, then the shop made a mistake.

Thanks for the reply, i did what you said and the check engine light turned on the off. Thing is i went to get my emissions done 2 weeks ago and the obd system read saying catalyst and evap wasnt ready. Then 2 weeks later with about 70 miles of driving the obd doesnt read. Just going to try another shop.
