Default Odometer reading reset?

2004 AP-2

With the lad next door helping, I changed the oil for the the winter. I gave him the printed instructions to reset the "Maint Req" light. I think he managed to do that, but the odometer now reads 34,900 rather than the 21,600 it was before. The red light for km/h shows, so I assume he changed miles to kilometers. I'd like to change back - or at least reset the odometer back to 21,600 miles. Appreciate any suggestions on getting it back to where I was.

Isn't it just by holding down the SEL button? It's one of those you just hold down and it'll beep and change back to miles or am I missing the point

Well, that was simple. Solved the problem. I feared a more sinister issue.

Glad it was an easy fix! I was really questioning myself if you were referring to the km/h switch or if it was something else lol
