Better in that it will read higher levels of pressure? Definitely. But unless your car is using Forced Induction (Turbo, supercharger, etc.) it really has no advantages for an NA car that I am aware of...

It appears that device is rated at 7bar, which is extremely overkill in my opinion though, even for a FI car.

The highest most FI people run is like 4bar. I think mine is 3bar and I definitely won't need more.

7bar = ~101psi
4bar = ~58psi
3bar = ~43.5psi

So yeah... like I said, most people won't ever need more than a sensor that reads that high. Guess it can't hurt much though.

It can hurt the car to go to high

The higher the sensor can read the lower the sensors resolution

The whole reading scale has to fit on 0-5v if it goes form -26" to 11psi (stock) you have great resolution

If it goes from -26" to 100psi it has CRAP resolution and .01v can mean a 3psi difference

Well.. i do plan to supercharge the car in the future so i figured id upgrade other things now so i dont have to worry about it later on. Im about to do the clutch but am gonna go after market ( not the bearings tho ) to make sure the clutch can handle a future supercharger so thats why i wanted to know if i should go with this MAP. Think ill go with the 4 bar for now...

IMO best solution is the 3bar Honda OEM sensor from an Acura RDX (it's the only turbo Honda atm).
For cheaper, I would go with Hondata 4bar or Science of Speed 3 or 4 bar.

If you put the sensor on now without an ecu upgrade to aem the car will not run on an OEM ecu

4 bar is overkill 2.5 would be the best of reading high enough and having good resolution

But what do I know I just make my own 2.5 using the Motorola 2.5bar sensor inserted into an OEM case

Hmmm, so you are saying if i replace the MAP get an OEM Acura RDX MAP in place of the OEM AP1 MAP?

It's 3 little wires and some silicone sealant to close it up after you split it.

Nothing advanced at all

If you don't tune the car to run the higher pressure map sensor, it will not run.
