Yes or No? I usually go to the local shop and these guys have always done good for me. The filter does have a metal style bypass valve.

 

Get a Motorcraft filter book and determine the PSI rating of the bypass valve. This is very important for proper function and maintenance of the oil pressure under all RPM conditions. Generally, swapping out a filter for another mfr's filter is risky.

 

Does anyone know the bypass psi for the S2000 filter?
