"There is only one true 100% synthetic oil on the market."

Um, no. Plenty of brands are fully Group IV and Group V synthetic oils, not just Amsoil.

I wouldn't use Mobil 1 oil filters. Their dense media makes them very restrictive ... even to the point where they have caused problems in some vehicles including Hondas. Every application is a little different and they may be OK for the S but with other, better choices available, why take the chance?

I use the OEM filter ... but I would also use WIX, Baldwin, Hastings or Purolator if I felt the OEM wasn't getting the job done or became unavailable.

You can use a non oem oil filter for sure. I still try to use oem ones but have used other oil filters many times.
Agreed. It only took me one winter with Mobil 1 to realize there is something wrong with it.
