The Bosch filter has worked fine for me. What hasn't worked and has not been mentioned is your selection of mobil 1 oil. Next change I would suggest using something different. Your TCT will thank you! Just search TCT and after a few threads you'll see it is not proven, but possibly linked to being ruined by M1 oil.

Thanks I was a bit skeptical about mobil 1 cause of many reviews I read but I decided to bit the bullet with it cause it was cheap at a local wholesale warehouse haha. I was deciding on amsoil but didn't want to wait for it to be delivered since I can't find anybody around me that sells it.

I've been using Mobil-1 for 5 years in my AP2 without problems or oil burn. If I had an AP1, I'd use something else. Too many complaints of excessive oil use.

I never understand these comments. My Amsoil orders arrive next day.

Sorry haha. Was rushing to type it on my phone. I did not want to wait for Amsoil to be delivered, and no one around my area that I know of sells Amsoil. So I went with Mobil 1.

If you do not want to wait I would suggest Castrol syntec. I really with I could dig up the oil analysis posted on here a few years ago. It was full of great information.
