Oil gauge install question

Default Oil gauge install question

Anyone know the fittings needed to hook the sending unit for oil pressure the gauge is auto meter brand thankx guys

You'll need a 1.8" BSP fitting and more than likely a 1/8" NPT for the pressure sensor itself. Look at www.pegasusautoracing.com. You'll probably need a 1/8" Tee, the male and female BSP, and a male to male 1/8"NPT fitting.

That being said, it might be a good idea to get a stainless line to run from the Tee away from the engine to minimize vibrations that can cause the sensor to fail. Also, it'll reduce the weight of all those things hanging off the side of the engine.
