Oil light flickering when car is stalling

If the engine is dying after a long run, on a warm to hot day --- may want to try 10W-40.
Just a thought.
My s2000 back in the day would do something similar to that. Turned out to be the map sensor actually. Maybe you can add that to the list as well. I did a map whack and tied it down with a zip tie under the hood. It ran like that for a couple of months before I sold the car.
Um, not sure how people are overlooking the red flag of the OIL LIGHT flickering...?
From my few years on the forum, this was almost always indicate of major engine failure. Our oil light comes on basically when your motor is already nearly toast.
Edit: albeit it's flickering when it's about to stall... so it might possibly not be the case in that the crank is turning so slowly that the pump can't generate the pressure for the switch to stay open. Maybe. Usually a bad sign though.

Fix the stall will fix everything.
