So I just bought an oil pressure tester and I would like to know the easiest way to hook it up. I believe the oil sender/dummy light by the oil filter would be the best spot. Would I have to drain any oil before hand. Any suggestions?

no need to drain oil, just screw it in the oil pressure sending units place and start the car.
