Oil on spark plug, not where you think....is this a problem?

18 ft/lb is too low.

honda issued a service update to increase to 21 ft/lb or so because 18 ft/lb is not tight enough. i would tighten those plugs up a bit.

21-24lb is where they need to be. There is a problem with them backing out. 18lb isn't enough. I probably have closer to 26lb on mine.

Also seeing oil on the threads is not uncommon on this engine if you happen to have an engine that uses a liberal amount of oil. Which is also not that uncommon on these engines, specifically the early F20. A tip for you is to monitor your oil level until you get an idea how much your engine burns. Keep it topped off regularly or it will burn it faster. If it was tube seals I would expect to see the coil pack wet.
