Default OILS?

now i know there are a good hand full of other topics on this subject but they pretty much say all different stuff and yes i HAVE TRIED SEARCH. sooooo i was looking to change my oil and i really dont know that much about the different kinds. I have a 2000 s2k and its got 60,000k on it and its my daily. now i have seen some people say that the mobil 1 10w30 is good. now i dont really know if i should use syn. or not. so if you guys could tell me what you guys use and how its treating you it would help. oooo yea now should i use 10w or 5w in the winter and what in the summer. THANKS GUYS

I hear 10w30 is better for warmer climates. It's what I use and I'm happy. I have also researched that AP1s tend to burn off more oil than AP2s. Some say conventional oil is better for our cars because of this characteristic.

amsoil 10w30 atm synthetic, good choice, mobil 1 Extended Performance 10w30 is pretty good too,

There's a reason for that. Any good brand is fine syn or dino. Pick the weight suitable for your climate. Go with syn if you want to. You'll get responses all over the board in this thread just like all the other threads you've looked at.

If you want a quantitative answer then send your oil in for UOA's each time.
